1) Why are the dates and times not listed for the Short Courses I enroll for online?

We share the college registration system. The system is not designed for one day classes and can not be updated.

Short Courses class information can be found in the online class catalog from our home page.

2) When do I pay for the Short Courses?

You have to make payment when enrolling for a class online. The online tutorial walks you through the entire process. The system will drop you if you have not made a payment.

3) If I register online, will my name be on the class list?

If you register the day of or the day before the class, please bring a copy of your online enrollment confirmation to class.
(We make the class rosters the morning of our classes and for weekend classes the Friday prior. You may be enrolled but not on the class roster. If you are not on the class roster and you do not have a confirmation, you will be asked to provide payment information to the instructor. Our office staff will verify registration and will not charge you twice.)

Below is a brief tutorial for the Online Registration process. Follow the red arrows.

After verifying your application information is correct, select the "Registration" tab.
Select the "Add Courses" tab
Lookup Courses that you would like to enroll in by first selecting the department. Example: Backyard Astronomy (ART 001.01) is in the ART department.
Then select the class by title Example: Backyard Astronomy (ART 001.01) Backyard Astronomy is the title of the class.
Select the "Add Now" button
Once you verify the information is correct select "Submit Shopping Cart" button. A new window will pop select "OK" Note: Some of the information listed in this area does not apply to our Short Courses including class credits and hours. Short Courses are not for credit, fee based classes.
Select "Your Account" tab to proceed to payment options.
Select "Make Payment" You can then enter your credit card information. Master Card, Visa or Discover.
